I'm very proud of myself this week. For some odd reason, I've just been very active. I think it started with getting back into the gym routine. I'm still not getting an adequate amount of sleep sadly (a lot of nights, not by choice.. damn insomnia). But I've been cleaning my house, doing yard work (like pulling weeds and lawn mowing), and even running! I ran outside for the first time here in Seattle. :)
I hope this is not just a phase. I'm loving not just slothing around the house being bored as was the usual case. This has inspired me to make a checklist of objectives I should accomplish by the end of the year.
I'd like to lose about a good 10 pounds of fat, and gain about a good 20 more pounds of muscle mass. By next summer, I want to have well-defined arms/legs/chest/abs. :) I've broken the 150 pound mark last week!! I think a lot of that is muscle mass, but I do have a bit of a gut that I need to shave off. Before I started working out, I never weighed more than 132 pounds. I rose up to 145 before I stopped going to the gym, and then stabalized. After starting the gym routine again last week, I've risen up to 151. This is why I've started running. Once I get to the level I want, I'm going to focus on weight-loss.
My main objective: I'm going to get sexy by next Summer. (:
